Euro News Memo

Hi guys,

Just a quick update on where we are with the blog, and what we’ll be seeing going forward.

So firstly, these past couple of months have been a learning curve for me, and my life has changed quite considerably. A huge part of that has been the start of the HP, this blog, which I am pleased to say, is going pretty well (though I hope it can do better next year).

Every post I make seems to get a solid number of views, which I of course hope grows, but to all those that follow this blog regularly, I thank you, and hope you stay with me in the coming year.

There will be no real post today, as I am preparing for Christmas and need to spend as much time as possible tying up other loose ends, preparing for Christmas, and of course celebrating (tomorrow for example I’ll be enjoying mulled wine and mince pies with my flatmates). As for next week, there will be the usual weekend State of the Union update, and perhaps one or two other articles; of what kind, I have yet to decide, but stay tuned. After that, the blog will be pretty quiet until after the New Year. You may see a few quick posts and/or comments, but there will be nothing big until mid January, by which time I will have returned to university and completed my mid-year exams and coursework.

Naturally, there will be important events taking place across this period, and I will get back to the major ones after the holidays, but please, do try to keep up. If there’s anything this blog is about, it’s keeping people informed as well as providing my own opinion – just because you won’t get one doesn’t mean you shouldn’t the other. And also, please don’t lose faith in me or the blog; it will be back when things have quietened down after the New Year.

Anyway, that’s all from me, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, spend your holidays well, and I’ll speak to you all when we reconvene in 2016.

Until then, signing off as your writer,

Sam Hufton, ΣH
